Completely Crazy

In 80 Tagen um die Welt

«Ich» and «Frau» are supposed to take in an «Idiot» at their home. At first this works quite well, but soon an uncontrollable spiral of violence, sex and anarchy begins. «This is one of the craziest operas I know,» says director Kirill Serebrennikov. «Alfred Schnittke's music is very flexible, it allows a lot of freedom. And it helps make theater. I wouldn't even call the piece an opera. For me, it's more of a play in which the characters converse in a very special way.»
