Opera

Concerts
The Italian is an artist of international standing not only as an opera conductor but also as a concert conductor. One week after the premiere of Il trovatore, he will also conduct the Philharmonia Zurich in concert in Zurich, Basel and Bern. The soloist will be the exceptional pianist Daniil Trifonov, who is celebrated worldwide. The program includes Brahms' First Piano Concerto, which is characterized by symphonic expansiveness and eruptive expressiveness, and Dvořák's Eighth Symphony, which displays a serene mood and is imbued with the most beautiful Bohemian folklore.
