Klavierkonzert KV 271 «Jenamy»
Dear audience, the quarantine situation has led to the fact that our conductor and soloist of the 1st La Scintilla concert on Monday, December 6, 2021, cannot and will not be allowed to perform. Kristian Bezuidenhout deeply regrets the situation. In order to be able to continue to perform the concert, the Orchestra La Scintilla and the Opernhaus Zürich have decided to transfer the solo parts to Els Biesemans. The direction will be taken over by our concertmaster Ada Pesch.
Good to know

Abstract
Bach Mozart
When Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach used the word clavier, he meant all the keyboard instruments of his time, including the harpsichord or fortepiano developed in the 18th century. One of today's most sought-after pianists, equally adept on these historical instruments and the modern grand piano, is Kristian Bezuidenhout. Born in South Africa, he now performs with the most prominent early music ensembles as well as modern symphony orchestras. He has made exemplary recordings of Mozart's solo piano works and is also artistic director of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. Together with the Orchestra La Scintilla, he now performs for the first time at the Zurich Opera House, playing a piano concerto by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach on the harpsichord and Mozart's E-flat major piano concerto Jenamy on the fortepiano. Two symphonic works by Bach's sons Carl Philipp Emanuel and Johann Christian, whose music had a great influence on Mozart, complete the program.
